Palante Film Festival is a film festival dedicated to highlighting the Latinx / Puerto Rican / Afro Caribbean cultures/communities. We are seeking short films as well as feature films that highlight the lives of our diaspora. All film makers are welcome to submit regardless of your cultural background, we are looking for films that call out and high light social justice issues of the day that happen to included Puerto Rican / Afro Caribbean communities at the fore front of your work.
For three short films (1st 2nd 3rd Place) and two feature films (1st Place and 2nd Place). Director will be brought to Holyoke Mass all expenses paid and will be able to attend the screening of their film and have a community panel discussion about the film.
