About the festival

The only festival in the world dedicated to Federico Fellini, made in the beautiful city of Fellini: Rimini.
2020 is the centenary of Fellini's birth.
There will be many events dedicated to him.

The SMArt Academy association, in collaboration with the SMArt Lab association, with the patronage of Regione Emilia-Romagna and Comune di Rimini, promotes the 13th Edition of Amarcort Film Festival, international short film contest which will take place in Rimini from 24 to 29 November 2020.
Amarcort is part of AFIC (Associazione dei Festival Cinematografici Italiani) and FEDIC (Federazione Italiana dei Cineclub).

The finalist short films will compete for the following prizes:

AMARCORT
1. “Technical Jury” award to the best short film (money + plaque)
2. "Made in Italy" award to the best Italian short film (money + plaque)
3. “Youth Jury” award to the best short film (plaque)
4. “Popular Jury” award to the best short film (plaque)
5. “Fellini” Mention to the most “fellinian” short film (plaque)
6. “Il Pataca” award to the best acting (plaque)

- “Technical Jury” award for best animation short film (money + plaque)

GRADISCA
- Audience prize (plaque)

FULGOR
- “Regione Emilia-Romagna Prize” to the best short film from Emilia-Romagna region (money + plaque)

ALDINA
- “Technical Jury” award to the best short film (money + plaque)

GIRONZALON
- “Technical Jury” award to the best short film (plaque)

CANTAREL
- “Technical Jury” award to the best music video(plaque)

HOME made MOVIE
- “Technical Jury” award to the best video (money + plaque)

Amarcort Film Festival adheres to the initiatives promoted during this quarantine period extended to all countries of the world. For authors who will make a short film directly at home, we have reserved a special category: the "Home Made Movie". We accept films of any kind, lasting up to 10 minutes. The direction of the Festival reserves the right to cancel this section if the quality level of the works presented does not guarantee the standard of the Festival.
