The BCN Sports Film and the Barcelona City Council want to encourage the creativity of audiovisual directors and producers by launching the extraordinary award "Sport - Stay Home" for the 11th BCN Sports Film Festival.

The category "Sport - Stay Home" is exclusive for audiovisual films that establish a link between sport and the situation of confinement experienced in the world as a consequence of the Coronavirus.

Remember that the 11th edition BCN Sports Film Festival will be held from 26 to 30 October in Barcelona. We wait for you to enjoy the best sports cinema!

Selected Films will be competing for:
• Award “Sport-Stay Home”, gifted with 500 €

Terms and rules

CONTENT
The extraordinary competition presented by these rules is open to audiovisual productions with a maximum duration of 7 minutes (7 ') whose theme is the relationship of sport and the consequences of the Covid 19 crisis, such as confinement. Only audiovisual productions that deal with this subject and that represent it through the genres of animation, documentary or fiction will be admitted to the competition.

GENERAL RULES
BCN Sports Film 2020 is open to both professional and independent productions.
BCN Sports Film 2020 will admit all films produced between the date of publication of these rules until 17th May 2020.
Each producer may present as many films as he wishes as long as they comply with all other regulations.
BCN Sports Film 2020 may programme non-competing films of general interest whatever their date of production.
