Burien Film Festival

* DEADLINE for this contest is Midnight, August 21, 2020. * 15 minutes Maximum length. Anything over will be disqualified. *Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Sound, Best Lighting, Best Screenplay, Best Cinematography will be chosen * 30 of the best films will be chosen to screen in our International Film Crawl in four venues, or in our kickoff event for 2021.

Burien Film Festival was founded on this contest. It celebrates Burien neighborhoods and businesses, giving film-makers creative license to fill in the rest, with a couple of required elements to include. What is your Burien story? (mockumentary, 4-7 min. max) -   What Burien story do you have to tell? Bring your full creative vision to the story and create the best Burien mockumentary. Any one can make a film.  - Must include at least two Burien businesses (locally-owned small businesses are a plus) - Must mention/feature one of the Burien neighborhoods (See the map on website) - Attempt the highest production value possible (feel free to ask our team for advice) Deadline for entry: Midnight Friday, August 21 Entrance Fee: $5.00 First Place: $500 Second Place: $250 Third Place: $100
