The occasion of a 2-day festival affords a rare opportunity to promote dialogue between filmmakers and the audience in an intimate setting. The Festival Committee also hopes to provide an international cultural platform for screening feature-length, documentary, short and student works as a lasting institution.

Caribbean Movies Festival will continue its tradition of showcasing a diverse sampling of newest feature films by established, award-winning directors complemented by a screening the next generation of groundbreaking filmmakers.
All films are presented by their directors and/or starring actors. A question-and-answer session with directors and actors follows each film. All movies have reception with some celebrities is held each year during which festival attendees have even more time to meet.
