About the festival

Our second year showed us anything is possible. In a year of no gathering we were able to switch our venue to The Boonies Drive In in Tilbury to ensure safety while watching some great international film. Our hope is still to bring together all genres to the Chatham-Kent and Southwestern Ontario region. The third season will take place over three days, with a meet and greet for filmmakers as well as a closing gala which is open to the public and possibly another night at the drive in..

The idea of having all genres in one film festival isn't new of course, but we plan to make each one stand out and be recognized for the effort filmmakers put into their art. Whether yours is animated for kids or heartwarming drama or a terrifying thriller, the Chatham-Kent International Film Festival welcomes you!
