"CINEMAMBULANTE: storie di integrazione" it's a festival in Calabria, southern Italy, which selects films with social engagement that portrays societies through politics, gastronomy, culture and music using drama or comedy, in the form of documentary, animation or fiction.
1. WHEN AND WHERE
-CINEMAMBULANTE will be held in different cities of the region of Calabria trying to engage with different parts of the society: openair screenings in the main squares, in the refugees centers of the region, and in theatres.
2. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
-Call for entries for Shorts and Features (Fiction, Animation, Documentary) are open
-Short films of any nationality and language can participate.
-All themes are allowed.
-The maximum length will be 30 minutes (including credits) for shorts.
-The minimum length for features will be 50 minutes and there is no maximum length.
-All films produced after January 2016 will be considered
-All formats will be accepted.
-There are no limits to the number of entries a filmmaker may enter.
3. SUBMISSION
REGULAR DEADLINE: February 1st of 2020
-Submit your film with English subtitles using FilmFreeway.
-We are not accepting submissions by post or email.
-Any short films that do not meet the requirements will not be accepted.
4. SELECTION PROCESS
-Once the films are selected, participants will be contacted through their email accounts.
-Those films that have been selected cannot leave the contest and they have to provide:
Screener in Apple Pro Ress 422 without subtitles attached.
Subtitles file (.srt) or dialogue list in English and Italian (The festival will help with the Italian subtitles if the participants provide an English or Spanish subtitles file in .srt or a dialogue list).
-The festival will not accept PenDrives and will not return any screener.
-The festival will notify the submitters via FilmFreeway platform.
-The festival will invite and provide hosting and food to all the directors in the official competition. The festival does not cover travel expenses.
5. AWARDS
-There will not be a competition
-All the features selected for screening will have €100 as a reward*
Films that do not provide Italian subtitles will not be rewarded.
6. REGULATIONS ACCEPTANCE
-Once they are submitted, all participants fully accept our rules and regulations for participating, and also the resolutions adopted by the organizing committee about any aspect regarding the contest.
