With your permission, all short films will be considered for screening at both our Annual Film Festival and our Movies in the Park Summer Series.

Selected Horror/Thriller shorts will be screened during our special Thrills & Chills program. With your permission, all short films will be considered for screening at both our Annual Film Festival, our Movies in the Park Summer Series & our Fright Night program held in Haunted Virginia City on Halloween Night.

NEW THIS YEAR - All Fan-Fiction shorts, 30 minutes or less, are invited to submit. Our programming encompasses a broad range of themes. We're looking for films that engage and entertain. Audience members will be encouraged to rock their favorite Cosplay outfit and compete for prizes. With your permission, all short films will be considered for screening at both our Annual Film Festival and our Movies in the Park Summer Series.

All Music Videos, 5 minutes or less, are invited to submit. Our programming encompasses a broad range of themes. We're looking for videos that engage and entertain. With your permission, all music videos will be considered for screening at both our Annual Film Festival and our Movies in the Park Summer Series.

All Feature length screenplays are invited to submit. Our programming encompasses a broad range of themes. We're looking for scripts that engage and entertain. Selected Screenplays will have the opportunity to see a selection of their script brought to life during the Festival at a table reading featuring professional actors.

Winner wins option to be produced in Reno, NV by the multiple award-winning Cordillera Films with an in-kind budget valued up to $10,000.00 All Short screenplays are invited to submit. Our programming encompasses a broad range of themes. We're looking for scripts that engage and entertain. Selected Screenplays will have the opportunity to see a selection of their script brought to life during the Festival at a table reading featuring professional actors.

***PLEASE NOTE: This is a discounted entry fee provided to Female and Female Identifying Filmmakers - in addition to this specific award, your film will be considered for ALL AWARDS categories that apply to your submission. You do NOT need to submit any project to us more than once.*** $500.00 Cash Prize. All works entered must either be created by artists that identify as female in a key creative role (writer, producer, or director) or of interest to women. Preference will be given to fictional and non-fictional stories that feature the everyday lives of women and feature three dimensional, well-formed female characters. With your permission, in addition to our Annual Festival, your film will be considered for our Women in Film Weekend Event and our Movies in the Park Summer Series.

All works entered must either be created with Nevada Resident in a key creative role (writer, producer, or director) or have been filmed in Nevada. With your permission, in addition to our Annual Festival, your film will be considered for our Nevada Filmmakers Event and our Movies in the Park Summer Series.

***PLEASE NOTE: This is a discounted entry fee provided to LGTBQ Filmmakers - in addition to this specific award, your film will be considered for ALL AWARDS categories that apply to your submission. You do NOT need to submit any project to us more than once.*** $500.00 Cash Prize. All works entered must either be created by artists that identify as LGTBQ in a key creative role (writer, producer, or director) or contain a strong LGTBQ theme. Preference will be given to fictional and non-fictional stories that feature the everyday lives of the LGTBQ community and feature three dimensional, well-formed LGTBQ characters. With your permission, in addition to our Annual Festival, your film will be considered for our Movies in the Park Summer Series.

***PLEASE NOTE: This is a discounted entry fee provided to Native American / Indigenous Filmmakers - in addition to this specific award, your film will be considered for ALL AWARDS categories that apply to your submission. You do NOT need to submit any project to us more than once.*** $500.00 Cash Prize. All works entered must either be created by artists that identify as Native American in a key creative role (writer, producer, or director) or contain a strong Native American theme. Preference will be given to fictional and non-fictional stories that feature the everyday lives of the Indigenous community and feature three dimensional, well-formed Native characters. With your permission, in addition to our Annual Festival, your film will be considered for our Movies in the Park Summer Series.

You do NOT need to submit any project to us more than once.*** All works entered must be created by artists that identify as BIPOC in a key creative role - writer, producer, or director. Preference will be given to fictional and non-fictional stories that feature three dimensional, well-formed BIPOC characters. With your permission, in addition to our Annual Festival, your film will be considered for our Movies in the Park Summer Series.
