The Cradle Mountain Film Festival has been cancelled for April 3-5 2020 due to uncertainty around the safety of public gatherings and events.
We look forward to screening the best adventure films from Tasmania and across the globe on the fringe of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area again in 2021.
The weekend program includes the Tasmanian exclusive screening of Mountainfilm on Tour, the One Year in Tasmania Adventure Film competition showcasing the many moods and adventures to be had on our little island in one year, kids' film events, filmmaker's workshops, Q & A sessions and Adventure Storytelling, the Mountain Huts Film Trail: a self-guided walking program of screenings in the mountain huts around Cradle Mountain, and outdoor adventure activities including canyoning, wilderness yoga, Thai massage, cold water therapy and the Dove Lake Classic trail run.
Join the local wildlife and people for some mountain culture and experience adventures in film at the stunning Cradle Mountain National Park.
Get in early as venue spaces and Festival Passes are limited, making for an intimate and exclusive experience. Seriously beautiful, boutique and adventurous!
One Year in Tasmania Adventure Film Competition - film your adventures in Tasmania and enter for great prizes. A shortlist will be screened at the Cradle Mountain Film Festival 2020 and will be judged by a panel who live and breathe adventure, storytelling and filmmaking.
