Trailers, Teasers, Sizzle Reels or Shorts must run from 90 (ninety) seconds and not to exceed 20 minutes and can be a part of a longer work, but no more than the first 20 min will be considered. All film submissions must provide a Private Vimeo link. We are NOT accepting DVD submissions.
Film submissions should be uploaded by the stated deadlines and be accompanied by the corresponding fee.
We accept both domestic and international shorts from every genre and budget.
Films musts be in English or include English Subtitles
New films must have been completed after January 1, 2018. Previously submitted films from prior Crystal Ship Mini Indie Film Festivals will be accepted as a new entry with the corresponding entry fee.
Films must not have been released theatrically or on television in the U.S. prior to the festival. If the film has screened online, the filmmaker is required to include this information in the film’s submission materials.
We do not accept replacement copies of a film. The only way we can accept a new revised version of your film is if you re-submit it using a new entry form and pay the corresponding entry fee.
You can submit as many films as you wish as long as each is accompanied by its respective entry form and fee.
If you don’t live in the United States, you can also pay the submission fee with a money order in U.S. dollars payable to: Crystal Ship Filmmaker, 1350 Avenue of the Americas, Suite 336, New York, New York 10019.
The Festival does not send email confirmations for projects submitted through www.filmfreeway.com. FilmFreeway handles all email confirmations processed through their site. You can verify the status of your submission by checking their website.
Finalists will be announced May 31, 2019.
Winners will be awarded at the festival on June 2018 in New York City, location : Symphony Space, 95th & Broadway, New York City from 3pm - 6pm.
