Terms and rules

All films must be in English language or have English subtitles. Non-English entries without subtitles are not eligible.

Only films completed after (and including) January 1st 2018 are eligible for entries. Each filmmaker can submit up to three films. No premiere status is required, though we give priority to new films, and films that were not previously screened in Croatia.

A short synopsis and three stills are required for all entries. A short trailer or teaser is required for feature films and feature documentaries. You can also include press kits and any other additional material for your film.

Entry does not guarantee acceptance into the festival. All entrants will be notified about the selection on July 1, 2020 at the latest (or much earlier in many cases), and they will be contacted to submit the screening prints and materials for the festival catalog.

Festival accepts screening prints with english subtitles, in high quality digital file format (for example: Quicktime or mp4 / H.264, H.265 or ProRes codec / resolution no less than 1920x1080).

By submitting your film, you allow Dalmatia Film Festival to use brief excerpts from your film and materials such as trailers, teasers, film posters, stills for promotional purpose.

The festival reserves the right to determine the cities where each film will be screened (Sutivan, Pirovac, Makarska, Omis, Split).

If you're author of the selected film, and you want to visit our festival and introduce your film, please contact us at info@dalmatia-filmfestival.com
