East Danforth is a neighbourhood in the midst of major transformation. Storefronts that sat empty have found new life, artists and entrepreneurs are invested in the community, parks have come alive with farmer's markets and festivals. And yet the rich history should not be forgotten - it is what gives this neighbourhood its flavour. The Danforth East Short Film Festival reflects this changing corner of Toronto by showcasing the best of animation, comedy, drama and documentary shorts that examine the theme of transformation.
The festival is open to all short films that do not exceed 15 minutes in length. There is no entry fee.
Cash prize for the best entry, and bragging rights :)
