TODAY WE HAVE MADE THE FOLLOWING DECISION : DEA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL CANNOT BE HELD ON THE SCHEDULED DATES, FROM 31 MAY TO 5 JUNE. THE FESTIVAL HAS BEEN POSTPONED ON 11-16 OCTOBER 2020.
THE FESTIVAL WILL ACCEPT SUBMISSION UNTIL 30 JUNE.

Regulation of DEA OPEN AIR International Film Festival
The sixth edition of DEA OPEN AIR International Film Festival will take place from 2 to 8 May 2019 in the capital city of Tirana in Albania.
The films that will be selected will be feature fiction, medium fiction, short movies, documentary and experimental produced by the January 2017. The fiction movies should be in DCP format or Blu Ray. While for the short movies the analog format is an option.
Application
The application for the participation in the festival must be within 20 February 2019.
To follow the application are needed:
-The completed form with a short biography.
-One photo of the director and the synopsis in English.
-Screener ( DVD – Bluray)
-Dialogue list -script English
-Stills and trailer
The applicant must be sure that possesses the rights to submit with the movie.
Regarding the nomination (competition) in the festival, a selective commission made of cinema professionals will decide. If there is a movie selected by the commission and is accepted from the producer or the owner of the Copyrights of this movie, it cannot be withdrawn from the competition.
For the consignment of the movie is responsible the sender, while for the return is responsible the film festival. On particular occasions the organizers of the festival must be contacted.

A jury of five members will accord the following awards.

-Best Screenplay
-Best Camera
-Best Montage
A jury of three members will accord the following awards for the short film session:
-Best Short movie
-Best Director
-Best Idea
-Deby film
-Best Documentary
-Best Experimental
Other Awards
-The public Award (Fiction)
-The Media Award for the Fiction and the Short Film Session
-The Goethe Institute Award
-The National Film Center Award
-The URA communication Award (Cross Border)
With the form sending the regulation of the DEA OPEN AIR International Film Festival is automatically accepted.
