About the festival

This November, PULP.Digital.Creators will be screening the freshest independent short films/animations for the Medicine Hat community. We will showcase everything from experimental through to narrative goodness. We are primarily seeking independent Alberta productions. If you are international and want to submit, our jury will consider your work.

The Digital Juice short film and Animation Festival is about fostering cultural creativity. Our plan is to support independent films/animations and party hard afterwards.

Terms and rules

- Accepting films with a release date after January 01, 2018.
- Only 1 submission per director/producer.
- All selected student productions will be required to submit proof of academic status.
- Director/producer must be over 16 years of age as of January 1, 2020.
- Submissions must be original work. The Film's producer and/or director are responsible to secure all copyright clearances for film content, including model releases, likenesses and music.
-Submitted films cannot be updated without prior arrangements with the festival officials.
-Pornographic or illegal content will not allowed into the festival.
-Producers and/or directors are responsible for their submission's technical functionality and proper film representation. [including promotional content]
-Refunds are not available on submitted Works.
-Materials sent by film representatives will not be returned unless pre-paid postage and packaging are included.
- Local and Alberta submissions have priority. [local is Medicine Hat, Canada]
-Rules are subject to revision.
