About the festival

We are proud to announce that this film festival has been made possible by a grant from Dr. Jane Goodall's organization for kids, "Roots & Shoots" and through the generosity and guidance of the Garden State Discovery Museum. All filmmakers of selected films will be invited to a private red carpet event and thus all filmmakers should try to attend that event. The festival will be held on the weekend of August 24, 2018, at the Garden State Discovery Museum. All filmmakers must be 17-years-old or under on the date of the festival. All films should be 2 minutes or under and be about helping people, animals, or the environment in the filmmaker's own community.

Select films will be awarded special recognition as determined by the judges. Gifts for all selected filmmakers attending!
