About the festival

Hello! We are proud to announce that DYCD Film Festival has decided to go on with the show by shifting our program to a virtual format #DYCDatHome.

We still want to hear the stories as long as you still want to tell them! Storytelling and creating community are more important now than they’ve ever been. Therefore, we will be bringing you the majority of our selected films via interactive online streaming platforms. This will allow us to further advance our mission of accessibility, making our films and conversations available to our community at times when hosting large gatherings in person is simply not possible.

We are excited to take these new steps together with you.

#DYCDAtHome Filmmaking Series:
To support your filmmaking process, we’ve partnered with our producing team, Show the Good, and enlisted a few filmmaking professionals to share some exclusive tricks and tips on how to make the best short films possible!

Visit bit.ly/dycdfilmseries to view the series!!!

ABOUT THE FILM FESTIVAL:
The DYCD Film Festival is the coolest student film festival in New York City. Celebrating our filmmakers of tomorrow…today, our festival offers an unparalleled experience designed specifically to promote and empower the future of film. Each June, hundreds of young filmmakers join us for an action-packed day of resources and entertainment.

HOW IT WORKS
The films will be available for supporters to stream at scheduled screening times. Select screenings will be followed by interactive live-streamed Q+As with the filmmakers immediately following the film screenings. Films will then be available for streaming for the following 24 hours. Q+As will be recorded and made available for those who cannot join them live.
