La terza edizione dell’Edera Film Festival, prevista a Treviso presso il cinema Edera dal 29 luglio al 1° agosto 2020, è rinviata al prossimo anno.
Una decisione dettata dalla volontà di preservare lo spirito originario della manifestazione, nata per favorire l’incontro tra registi emergenti under 35, la partecipazione degli ospiti, la presentazione dei film in una sala cinematografica dagli alti standard tecnologici.
L’incertezza che accompagna la possibilità di spostamento tra le regioni e le nazioni, i dubbi sull’applicazione dei protocolli di sicurezza richiesti al termine del lockdown in Italia, impongono uno slittamento al 2021 per tornare ad organizzare il festival nelle modalità per cui è stato immaginato.
L’appuntamento è sempre a Treviso, presso il cinema Edera, dal 28 al 31 luglio 2021.
Tutte le iscrizioni pervenute alla data di scadenza del bando – 31 maggio 2020 – restano valide, e saranno prese in considerazione nel processo di selezione.
The third edition of the Edera Film Festival, scheduled in Treviso (Italy) at cinema Edera from July 29th to August 1st 2020, is postponed to the next year.
A decision that was taken to preserve the original spirit of the event, born to encourage the gathering of emerging under 35 directors, the participation of guests, the screening of films in a high-tech theatre.
The uncertainty about the possibility of moving between regions and nations, the doubts about the right application of security procedures at the end of lockdown in Italy, dictate a postponement to 2021 to organize the festival the way it was planned.
The appointment is in Treviso, at cinema Edera, from July 28th to July 31st 2021.
All submissions entered by the deadline of May 31st remain valid and will be taken into consideration for the selection process.
