Terms and rules

RULES:
-Film must have a Korean director or a strong relationship to Korean culture.
(e.g. filmed in South Korea, the majority of the dialogue in Korean, or dealing with the Korean community abroad)

-We accept films with a minimum duration of 1 minute and a maximum duration of 30 minutes (end credits included).

-There is no maximum number of films one person can submit.

-All submissions must be subtitled in English or French.

-Subtitles should be provided in one of the following formats: XML, DOC, SRT ou TXT

-Submitters must guarantee that they hold all intellectual property rights related to the film submitted and that they have the necessary usage rights for any content included in the film (music, right to one’s image, copyright, etc.). Submitters guarantee the Festival for any legal proceedings, claims, or demands arising from any individual claiming an intellectual property right that the film submitted may have infringed upon.

-The film must be submitted via FilmFreeway. (Distribution companies with more than 10 films to submit may contact us at shortcuts@ffcp-cinema.com for their submissions). Submissions are not accepted by any other means.

-FCPP will not accept any submissions that we deem:
to not respect a third party's copyright
to intrude on a third party's private life
to be commercial or promotional in nature
to contain child-pornography
to be xenophobic, racist, discriminatory (whether on the basis of gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, age or political opinion)
to incite crime, hatred, violence, racism, terrorism or suicide

-Submitters must provide the name of one director as the participant. While co-directors can be credited, any prizes will be awarded to one person only (who is then in charge of sharing the award with any co-directors)

-Submitters must provide the following information:
Name, Surname, email address, telephone number, postal address, date of birth, gender.

-FCPP reserves the right to refuse to accept any submission deemed by the Festival to be incomplete or inappropriate. Should you wish to question FCPP about their decision, you can contact us by email at xxxx@xxxx?

-The submission deadline is midnight on the 30th June 2020

-Selected films must be sent to us in one of the following formats: HD quality .mov or DCP

The competition is open to Korean directors (without restrictions). 대한민국 국적을 가진 연출자의 작품은 특별한 제한없이 출품할 수 있다. The competition is open to non-Korean directors with restrictions, the film submitted must meet at least one of the following conditions: -be filmed in South Korea (ex: highlighting the culture, the landscape, etc.). -have Korean culture as a strong focus (e.g. language spoken mostly in the film, integration of the Korean community in foreign countries, etc.). 대한민국 외 국적의 연출자는 조건하에 작품을 출품할 수 있는데, 작품이 아래의 조건 중 하나에 해당되어야 한다.. 한국에서 촬영이 된 경우 (한국 문화나 경관 등) 한국문화를 중요한 핵심으로 다루는 경우 (영화 내에서 전반적으로 한국어 사용, 해외에서 지내는 한국인 사회를 다루는 등)
