"FETIFEST HAMBURG: Japan’s Underground Film Festival" is Japan's largest and best known sub-genre film festival. The aim of FETIFEST is to showcase extreme never-before-seen independent films from around the world. We gladly welcome all talented filmmakers; anyone who is trying to push the limits of art!
The event is lead by Sade Sato, known for his disturbing film, "MAI-CHAN's Daily Life.” Under his direction, FETIFEST has developed a huge following in Japan with fans of dark underground art and film. Last year FETIFEST expanded beyond Japan with a successful festival in Taiwan. This year we are bringing FETIFEST to Hamburg, Germany!
