The Fickin Film Festival is held annually in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The name stands for Festival International de Cinéma de Kinshasa. Entries in any language accepted if subtitled in English. We appreciate but do not require French subtitles. The festival is conducted in French and Lingala.
The producers of this festival are working for the emergence and the visibility of cinema throughout the African continent and especially in the DR-Congo. It is open to submissions from around the globe, however, and entries have come from Africa, Europe, and the USA. We welcome all.

Films must have been produced no later than 2018 to be eligible for FICKIN. Trophies are awarded to winners who attend the festival in person.Winners who can't attend will receive laurels.
