Filmly is the 72 hour film festival for eager film students wanting to cut their teeth into the fast paced environment of short film competitions. Filmly is the stepping stone for University filmmakers to renowned film festivals such as The 48hr Film Project and Tropfest. Teams will be given 3 pieces of stimulus and 72 hours to write, film and edit 4-8 minute films. All submissions will then be shortlisted and shown to an exited and buzzing audience as Howler bar & Theatre.
The winner will be awarded $1000 worth of rental equipment from Panavision Australia. Runners up will receive prizes from Film Ink, Monster Pictures, Madman & Cinema Nova.
