About the festival

The Hang on to Your Shorts Film Festival is now in its seventh year of bringing great short films and art to iconic Asbury Park, New Jersey. In 2020 we hope to be much bigger and better.
There are many great film festivals in the state of New Jersey. The Hang Onto Your Shorts Film Festival is unique because it is a very intimate and inviting affair, without pretense.

We look forward to sharing our creative universe with you.

We have over 28 awards for short films, all different categories and special guests.
