B. Short film 15 minutes. (with credits).

*(Filmed within the state of Hidalgo, México and/or by a crew with at least one member from the state of Hidalgo, Mexico).
I PARTICIPATION.
• All the projects made after JUNE 2017 may participate.
• The filmmakers may participate with only ONE short film and/or feature film.
• The Production Companies may participate with up to THREE short films and/or Feature films from DIFFERENT filmmaker.
• Projects may be registered individually or by teams.
• Projects which language is different from Spanish have to be sent with Spanish subtitles.
• ONLY through this digital platform:
a) FilmFreeway
(DVD, USB o any other physical support isn’t admitted).
• The author or authors are the only responsible for the film and all of what’s in it, the organizing entities and collaborators decline all legal responsibility about its contents.
• The present call for entries closes October 31 2020 at 23:59.
II SELECTION.
• The organizer committee will assess ALL received projects that fulfill all of the CONDITIONS listed in this CALL FOR ENTRIES and will choose those accepted to the official selection.
• The projects that conform the official selection have to send a Press Kit with:
Still / Digital image of the project (300 dpi, JPEG format).
Project synopsis. (.doc or .docx format. in English and Spanish).
Data sheet with credits. (.doc or .docx format in English and Spanish).
The Press Kit must be sent after the official selection notification and no longer than June 1st.
• Official Selection list will be published in November 1st.
III DIFUSION.
• Short films and Feature films that are part of the Official Selection will be projected so they can be known and valued by the assisting community to HIDALGO FILM FEST. This implies transferring the projecting rights of it DURING the period of the event and participations derived from the festival through 2020 and 2021 as a part of a permanent diffusion campaign.
• In any case the permanent diffusion campaign will be done with commercial purposes.
• The Official Selection will be compiled in one physical support, as a part of the Hidalgo Film Fest collection.
VI AWARDS.
• The official jury, integrated by film industry, culture, communication and entertainment professionals, and they have the final decision.
• HIDALGO FILM FEST grants the TENANGO award. It is a textile craft full of color that we value and showcase with pride as an award to the most distinguished of our Official Selection. During 2020 we will emit a series of 16 TENANGOS.
• Postage and handling is responsibility of whom subscribes the project.
• The list of projects awarded with TENANGO 2020 will be published in our social networks for its knowledge and consideration on November 16th.
V LEGAL.
• The organizing committee is the only one that will have the faculty of decision about any non-anticipated situation with the conditions and their decision is final.
• Participating at hidalgo International Film Festival, HIDALGO FILM FEST, implies the complete acceptance of the present CONDITIONS.
