The biggest part of our program resides on the best films that have come out from Mexico in the recent production year. These films will make us cry, laugh, scream and reflect. The program together knows no boundaries or genres. We forget about the eternal battle of Art Vs Commercial, we don’t need to put a label on a film. We want to see good stories that are well produced and that will make us enjoy cinema and enjoy all the flavors of Mexico. This section will make sure that nothing goes unnoticed, that the life of those in front of the camera goes on record to show us their reality as they see it. To propose, to change to criticize. Watch real life stories unfold in front of you, sometimes with more drama than any fiction could bring.

Some films are made with the intention to grab us and shake us. To make us rethink the world as we currently know it. Sometimes, these films will make us scream or introduce us to a world of pain and suffering - physically or mentally. The new Nocturno section will look for the bizarre and horrific films coming out from Mexico.
