About the festival

Hollywood Comedy Shorts will highlight short comedy, web series, TV episodic, Comedy Screenplays, and Dark Comedy shorts with the goal of screening the best comedic content from around the world for a Hollywood industry audience! The festival will take place at the world famous TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood and streaming on Bitpix for four days of screenings, filmmaker Q and A's, panels, parties, and the awards party!

Top categories will be awarded prizes valued at over $30,000. Sponsors include Kodak, Camera Division, E Tech Rentals, Color Space Finishing, Final Draft, Jungle Software, and bitpix

Films and screenplays submitted to the Festival will be considered for competitive categories. By submitting your film for consideration for the 6th Annual Hollywood Comedy Shorts Film Festival, you agree for Hollywood Comedy Shorts to screen your short film if it is an official selection for this year's festival and are obligated to your commitment.*Note we screen exclusively on DCP with Simple DCP.
