About the festival

EMERGENCY UPDATE *****DUE TO STATE REGULATIONS in NEW YORK, THE HOLLYWOOD HORROR FILM FESTIVAL HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO COVID19. OFFICIAL SELECTIONS WILL BE OUT NEXT WEEK and ALL FILMS WILL BE SCREENED in an EXTENDED JOINT UPSTATE NY HORROR FILM FESTIVAL 8th year 2020. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT OFFICIAL SELECTIONS as ADDITIONAL DAYS WILL BE ADDED TO THE FILM FESTIVAL and FILMS WILL BE JUDGE BY THE YEAR. WE WILL HAVE WINNERS FOR BOTH 2019 and 2020******

From the film festival organization that has been running for 7 years,
NY Horror Film Festival, TOP 100 FILM FESTIVALS on FilmFreeway
2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019,
comes the Hollywood horror Film Festival.

Hollywood Horror Film Fest is in its 2nd Year and oh what a bloody-freaky year it will be. We have decided to open up submissions starting today April 3rd, 2020!

This year will be our eleventh year as a festival organization, but the 2nd year for the Hollywood Horror, originally known as Hollywood Horror.
We figure why not bring the film festival to a really haunted attraction/house?
Each year we will be moving the film festival to a different real Horror attraction around the United States and will let the festival goers decide which attraction at the start of each year.

This first year, we will be at The Clown Motel, named the Scariest motel in America!

This year, 2020, we will be playing three days, in the town on Tonopah Nevada. We have teamed up with the Clown Motel and TLC Bar to hold the event in this really freaky place.
Named the #1 Scariest Motel in America, what can possibly go wrong!

The Hollywood Horror Film Festival will take place in Spring 2020, in Tonopah Nevada.
3 hours from Las Vegas, 5 hrs from Los Angeles.
