Humanitarian Film’s Day is a qualitative event that gives humanitarian organizations and humanitarian professionals the opportunity to meet media, film and mass media professionals from Europe and the Middle East to discuss film production standards, image industry and adaptive technologies that serves humanitarian issues.
The Human Film Day includes a screening of a number of carefully selected 'short films' aimed at encouraging those interested in this field to produce # films dealing with human issues and themes.
In the presence of a distinguished group of professionals and directors in the field of production, media and image industry to provide technical recommendations to help humanitarian workers to produce short and long films of international quality.
Among our partners we have Al Jazeera Documentaries and Al Jazeera Media Institute.
For the 2019 Humanitarian Film Festival, we are only accepting submissions on FilmFreeway. If you are new to FilmFreeway, your first step will be to create an account and then to create a “project” for your submission. What do I need to submit my film?
Each submission must be accompanied by a submission fee paid in full and a playable screener to be considered. HFD 2019 is proceeding to select films and will inform participant about next steps.
How do I know you received my submission?
In your FilmFreeway account, under the “Submissions” tab, you can locate your submission to our festival. As long as the Submission Status is listed as “In Consideration”, your film has satisfied all of our requirements and is ready to be reviewed by our screeners and programmers.
