Covid-19 Update: Due to the Covid-19 crisis and state government mandates, we will be unable to conduct a live physical event in July due to limitations on the size of crowd events in Kentucky. However, we will be hosting a great Imaginarium 2020 as a virtual event that will be held the week of Sept. 21st-27th 2020 via a secure online platform to be announced very shortly.
This will be taking place on a secured platform that only registered participants, guests, and vendors will be able to access, so our content will not be accessible/viewable to the general public, to alleviate concerns of filmmakers regarding online exhibition and distributor requirements..
We have had to postpone our notifications on official selections while we reset for the postponed dates, and we will be announcing the official selections for 2020 on July 10th.
Official selections will come with a pass to BOTH the 2020 virtual event and our 2021 live event. Official selections will be screened in both events as well (again, please note that the virtual event is on a secured platform, not a public exhibition).
Full details will be coming soon. We will still be announcing awards for both the Imadjinns and film festival, without a physical banquet. Winners of awards in 2020 will be spotlighted and honored at Imaginarium 2021’s Awards Banquet in addition to being announced at the conclusion of the Imaginarium 2020 Virtual Conference and Convention.
We will be honoring all paid registrants, sponsors, and vendors as of May 15th, 2020, as paid forward to next year’s Imaginarium 2021, that will be held on July 9th-11th of next year, and all of these groups will ALSO have full access to participation in this year’s virtual event too!
Thank you all for your understanding and look forward to seeing you in September!
