About the festival

INDIE OPEN SCREEN is a new monthly screening series based in Brooklyn, in which we screen 4 - 5 projects per event along with a Q&A highlighting each project's team members.

This season, we have partnered with The ON! Channel Online TV to launch round 2 of our festival. Each month, 4 projects will be selected to stream for 30 days via TheON!Channel.com. Viewers will be able to watch your projects for free during that time period.

Out of the 4 selected projects, one will be announced as the Award winner and will be offered a contract with TheON!Channel.com.

These projects can be of any genre (sci-if/thriller,comedy, drama).

Terms and rules

-All international films MUST have English subtitles if in another language.
-Projects cannot exceed 15 minutes.
-Works in Progress are accepted as long as project is completed by screening date.
-Submissions DO NOT guarantee selection.
-If selected, Filmmakers will be asked for further materials.
-If selected, at least 3 team members (Creator, Cast, Crew) are required to attend live screening event.
-If NOT selected, your project will be submitted into the data base for any upcoming screening we may have in the future.
