INFIERNO EN LOS ANDES FEST
This festival mixes metal music with horror, fantastic and bizarre films. It will be held from December 17 to 20, 2020, in the city of Puno - Peru. El Infierno en los Andes Fest, has been held since 2008. Due to the situation our country and the world are going through due to COVID 19, this year will be a virtual edition, taking into account all the health and safety measures proposed by the state .
The Infierno en los Andes Fest, turns 12, being already an important event for the metal and film scene in Peru. Since 2018 the festival includes in its activities the official film selection, something that makes it unique, METAL + CINE.
The festival in its audiovisual segment has the following categories:
• Best international feature film (genre: Terror, fantastic, bizarre, science fiction and experimental).
• Best Peruvian short film (genre: Terror, fantastic, bizarre, science fiction and experimental).
• Best international short film (genre: Terror, fantastic, bizarre, science fiction and experimental).
• Best Latin American short film (genre: Terror, fantastic, bizarre, science fiction and experimental).
• Best metal music video.
• Best metal documentary feature film.
To present projects to the Festival Programming Committee, the applicant must consider the following:
1. Works can only be submitted online on the platforms published at the following link: https://goo.gl/SHzXjR
2. They must contain Subtitles and be attached in .srt format in Spanish or English if the film is not spoken in Spanish.
3. Up to three works per director will be accepted.
4. The deadline for receiving the material is November 20, 2020.
5. Registration to the festival has a cost for all short films, except: short films produced in Latin American countries, feature films (fiction and metal documentary), metal video clip.
6. Short films must not exceed 20 (twenty) minutes. The work will be out of competition if it exceeds this limit. Feature films must exceed 60 minutes. And they must have been completed since 2017.
7. The organizing committee will consider audiovisual productions in the genres Horror, fantastic, bizarre, science fiction, experimental, metal music video clip, documentary about the metal scene.
8. The director and / or producer of the audiovisual production authorizes that it be included in the festival's video library for future traveling exhibitions.
9. The productions received may be used to promote the Festival (using part of the video, not its entirety, the teaser or trailer can be used), the directors must be authors of the audiovisual works and undertake not to present audiovisual materials and / or phonographies over which they have no rights of use. The Festival organization is not responsible for the works or for the inappropriate use of intellectual property rights by the authors.
10. The best Peruvian short film will be awarded a cash sum of five hundred soles (S / 500,000).
11. The Festival organization will appoint the members of the juries for each section. People who have interests in the production and / or exploitation of the films submitted to competition may not be part of the Jury. No film may receive more than two awards. The Jury may propose special mentions and no film may receive more than two mentions.
12. Metal video clips will compete for a greater number of votes (likes) at https://www.facebook.com/infiernofest, in addition the filmmakers must authorize their publication, the organization will not monetize said work, seeking to be a space for the exhibition and dissemination of the bands.
13. The following prizes will be awarded:
- Best International Hell Film (trophy and certificate)
- Best Peruvian infernal short film (economic award trophy and certificate)
- Best International Infernal Short Film (trophy and certificate)
- Best Latin American infernal short film (trophy and certificate)
- Best infernal video clip (trophy and certificate)
- Best Infernal Documentary (trophy and certificate)
14. Applicants authorize the exhibition of the works to be done for free on the page www.infiernofest.com, during the days of the Festival.
15. The festival reserves the right to select the participating works, determine in which section each one will go and establish the order and the date of exhibition.
16. Participation in the Festival implies acceptance of these regulations. Any question that arises throughout the Festival, not contemplated in these regulations, will be decided by the organization of the contest.
17. The Official Selection in Competition and in Exhibition will be published on December 05, 2020 on the website www.infiernofest.com and the corresponding laurels will be sent by email.

INFIERNO EN LOS ANDES FEST
Este festival mezcla la música metal con el cine de terror, fantástico y bizarro. Se realizará del 17 al 20 de diciembre del 2020, en la ciudad de Puno – Perú. El Infierno en los Andes Fest, se viene organizando desde el 2008. Debido a la coyuntura que atraviesa nuestro país y el mundo por el COVID 19, este año será una edición virtual, teniendo en cuenta todas las medidas de salud y seguridad propuestas por el estado.
El Infierno en los Andes Fest, cumple 12 años, siendo ya en un evento importante para la escena metal y el Cine en el Perú. Desde el 2018 el festival incluye en sus actividades la selección oficial de cine, algo que lo hace único, METAL + CINE.
El festival en su segmento audiovisual tiene las siguientes categorías:
• Mejor largometraje internacional (genero: Terror, fantástico, bizarro, ciencia ficción y experimental).
• Mejor cortometraje peruano (genero: Terror, fantástico, bizarro, ciencia ficción y experimental).
• Mejor cortometraje internacional (genero: Terror, fantástico, bizarro, ciencia ficción y experimental).
• Mejor cortometraje latinoamericano (genero: Terror, fantástico, bizarro, ciencia ficción y experimental).
• Mejor videoclip metal.
• Mejor largometraje documental metal.
Para presentar proyectos al Comité de Programación del Festival el postulante debe considerar lo siguiente:
1. Los trabajos solo podrán enviarse de manera online en las plataformas publicadas en el siguiente enlace: https://goo.gl/SHzXjR
2. Deberán contener Subtítulos y ser adjuntados en formato .srt en español o inglés si la película no es hablada en español.
3. Se aceptarán hasta tres obras por realizador.
4. La fecha tope para la recepción del material es el 20 de noviembre del 2020.
5. La inscripción al festival tiene un costo para todos los cortometrajes, excepto: cortometrajes producidos en países latinoamericanos, largometrajes (ficción y documental metal), videoclip metal.
6. Los cortometrajes no deben superar los 20 (veinte) minutos. La obra quedara fuera de competencia si supera este límite. Los largometrajes deberán superar los 60 minutos. Y deben haber sido culminados des el 2017.
7. El comité organizador tendrá en consideración producciones audiovisuales en los géneros Terror, fantástico, bizarro, ciencia ficción, experimental, videoclip de música metal, documental sobre la escena metal.
8. El director y/o productor de la producción audiovisual autoriza que la misma sea incluida en la videoteca del festival para futuras muestras itinerantes.
9. Las producciones recibidas podrán ser usadas para la promoción del Festival (utilizando parte del video, no su totalidad, se puede utilizar el teaser o el tráiler), los directores deben ser autores de las obras audiovisuales y se comprometen a no presentar materiales audiovisuales y/o fonografías sobre los que no tengan derechos de uso. La organización del Festival no se responsabiliza de las obras ni del uso inadecuado de los derechos de propiedad intelectual por parte de los autores.
10. Se premiará al mejor cortometraje peruano con una suma en efectivo de quinientos soles (S/500.000).
11. La organización del Festival nombrará los miembros de los jurados para cada sección. No podrán formar parte del Jurado aquellas personas que tengan intereses en la producción y/o explotación de las películas presentadas a competición. Ninguna película podrá recibir más de dos premios. El Jurado podrá proponer menciones especiales y ninguna película podrá recibir más de dos menciones.
12. Los videoclips metal competirán por mayor cantidad de votación (likes) en https://www.facebook.com/infiernofest además los realizadores deben autorizar su publicación, la organización no monetizará dicha obra, buscando ser un espacio de exhibición y difusión de las bandas.
13. Se otorgarán los siguientes premios:
- Mejor película infernal Internacional (trofeo y certificado)
- Mejor cortometraje infernal Peruano (premio económico trofeo y certificado)
- Mejor cortometraje infernal Internacional (trofeo y certificado)
- Mejor cortometraje infernal Latinoamericano (trofeo y certificado)
- Mejor videoclip infernal (trofeo y certificado)
- Mejor documental Infernal (trofeo y certificado)
14. Los postulantes autorizan que se pueda hacer la exhibición de las obras de forma gratuita en la página www.infiernofest.com, durante los días del Festival.
15. El festival se reserva el derecho de seleccionar las obras participantes, determinar en qué sección ira cada una y establecer el orden y la fecha de exhibición.
16. La participación en el Festival implica la aceptación del presente reglamento. Cualquier cuestión que surja a lo largo del Festival, no contempla en el presente reglamento, será decidida por la organización del certamen.
17. La Selección Oficial en Competencia y en Exhibición se publicará el 05 de diciembre del 2020 en la página web www.infiernofest.com y se enviaran los laureles correspondientes por correo electrónico.
