Augsburg University educates students to be informed citizens, thoughtful stewards, critical thinkers, and responsible leaders. The Augsburg experience is supported by an engaged community that is committed to intentional diversity in its life and work. An Augsburg education is defined by excellence in the liberal arts and professional studies. Guided by the faith and values of the Lutheran Church, and shaped by its urban and global students. Films submitted to this category should demonstrate a commitment to these values and should generally be free from depictions of violence, hostile acts, discrimination, drinking and drug abuse, or lewd language (unless they are essential to the narrative). Additionally, films should seek to challenge stereotypes in their depictions of persons and issues, expand opportunities for untold stories and tellers, and be aware of gaze when representing underrepresented communities.
