About the festival

XX III International Festival of Animation Films "Animajevka-2020" will be held 25-28 October 2020 in Mogilev (Belarus).

The festival is held annually to promote the best works of world and domestic animation, support for animated films, to strengthen cultural ties between Belarus and the participating countries of the festival, whose geography is expanding every year.

Over the years the festival has become a real festival of animation for children and adults. For spectators organized screenings of competitive and non-competitive programs, meetings with the creators of animated films, workshops, exhibitions and children's fine arts and crafts.

The festival will take place:
- competition of animated films;
- competition of children's animated creation;
- competition of children's and fine arts and crafts.

The following competitions are held within the framework of the festival:

animated films (authors from 18 years and older can participate) in the following categories:

“The best animated film of the festival” (Grand Prix);
"The best animated film for adults";
"The best experimental animated film";
"The best visual solution";
"The best script of the animated film";
"The best director of an animated film";
“The best sound solution for an animated film”;
"Best Debut";
"The best student animated film";
"The best animated film for children";
“The Best Belarusian Animated Film”;

children's animated creativity (children and youth from 5 to 17 years old inclusively can participate) in the following categories:
“The youngest creator of an animated film”;
"The best screenplay";
“The best sound solution for an animated film”;
“The most informative animated film”;
“The kindest animated film”;
"The best children's animated film";
“The Best Belarusian Animated Film”;
“The best animated film artist”;

fine arts and crafts (children and youth from 5 to 17 years old inclusive) can participate in the following categories:

“Fine art” (age groups: 5–10 years, 11–17 years);
“Decorative and applied art” (age groups: 5–10 years, 11–17 years).
