About the festival

Short film festival for independent film makers. We are specifically looking to promote amateur, student, first time/new film makers & community drama groups.

Films will be screened at Royal Manor Theatre, 138A Fortuneswell, DT5 1LT every three months throughout the year.

This is a very informal film festival. You'll get feedback from judges and audience members in the bar after the screening.

COVID -19 UPDATE (26/8/2020)
Unfortunately the theatre remains closed for the time being, so this season's festival (September 2020) will be postponed until we can run a screening. The deadline has now been extended until the end of 2020 and we hope to be in a position to screen accepted films early in 2021. I've put a date in for the next festival (as you can't leave it blank) but this may change as we know more.

This festival is for new and young film makers to screen their work and get some exposure. Feedback as judged by the audience on request. No cash prizes
