SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Short films:
Running time; 4-60 mins, not to exceed 60 mins. Filmmakers will need to send us a digital copy of the film on Blu-ray or DCP format for screening purposes.
Feature films:
Running time; 50 plus, filmmakers will need to send a digital copy of the film on Blu-ray or DCP format for screening purposes.
Music videos:
Running time; not to exceed 6 minutes Filmmakers will need to send us a digital copy of the film on Blu-ray or DCP format for screening purposes.
Documentary:
Running time; 45 minutes plus, send us a digital copy of the film on Blu-ray or DCP format for screening purposes.
Animation:
Running time; 80 minutes running time, send us a digital copy of the film on Blu-ray or DCP.
Web Series:
Running time; Not to exceed 20 minutes.
Action:
Running time; 50 minutes plus, send us a digital copy of the film on Blu-ray or DCP.
The Filmmaker is responsible for clearing all rights to the materials in their film.
By submitting your film/script, you declare you have full authority to submit your film to the Las Vegas Premiere Film Festival, and you have cleared all rights to use the music in the entered work.
Filmmakers are allowed to submit more than one film for the festival, provided that each film is submitted separately and meet LVPFF guidelines. The LVPFF is not responsible for any damages to materials that occurred while in transit. If your film arrives damaged, we will contact you to request another copy. The Filmmaker is responsible for all inbound shipping costs.
If your film is selected an electronic press kit completed with production stills, synopsis of the film, and a 350 or less word biography of the Director must be sent to the Las Vegas Premiere Film Festival e-mail. Film trailers should be emailed, posters and postcards should be sent to the LVPFF office for press and marketing no later than August 4th, 2019. Winners must allow the Las Vegas Premiere Film Festival to let their film be featured four months following notification of winning, for the purpose of promoting the festival and the film. Blu-ray or DCP is preferred for exhibition if selected (Blu-ray or Digital Cinema Package/ DCP is required by venue). Films made prior to August 9th, 2015 are not eligible.
The entry does not guarantee acceptance into the film festival. All students must provide a current valid ID and submit with student e-mail
Entries must be written, directed, produced and/or principally acted by a person of color.
