About the festival

Linear International Film Festival is now in its second year. After enjoying an amazing first year in Todmorden, November 2019 we are back to celebrate another year of short films.

Linear is brought to you as a collaboration between De Profundis (Amanda Fleming) and Film Vault Presents (Andrew Green).

Named after the concept of the word Linear, always going forward, rather than the location, this opens it up to us hosting the festival at different locations around the UK.

This festival is open to the international community as long as the film has English subtitles and no longer than 20 mins long. We are open to new and student film makers and also existing ones.

We will be covered by press and reviewers, promotions, social media bloggers, all helping publicise the festival and the selected film makers, helping the festival grow in the coming years.

This years festival will be held online Due to the Covid Restrictions

Submission will open May 2020

Award certificates will be given out at the end of the night.

Laurels will be awarded to the officially selected, and winners
