About the festival

April 4, 2021 is our festival at the Atlantic Beach Hotel.

Our 3rd year is now open for submissions!

The Festival is held in the old quiet, artistic seaside village of Melkbosstrand, Cape Town, South Africa.

We are focusing on films that dares to push boundaries. Drama, thriller, horror, mystery, sci-fi, comedy, animation and documentary are what we are looking for.
We are looking for filmmakers who are not afraid to try different things and think outside of the box.
Films with a running time of 1 minute to 40 minutes.

We will once again have some of South Africa's biggest names in the industry as judges and guest speakers.

Terms and rules

Films must be 1 minute to 40 minutes long.
Any genre of films.
All non-English films must have English subtitles.
You may submit more than one film, but you must complete a separate entry form and pay entry fee for each film. For individual awards you must enter film as well.
Films must be completed after 2010.
