About the festival

White River Junction, the historical, bustling train town of Vermont, is cultivating a rapidly growing art community and The Briggs Art House is spear heading the movement. At the center of town, located just a stone's throw from the train station, The Briggs has housed events of every kind through out its lush history. From basket ball games to award winning theater performances, the auditorium vibrates with an unfading energy. Movies at the Briggs takes place on one night each week. Each evening's performance will feature one short film and one feature length. Our filmmakers will enjoy one on one time with the MAB audience and undivided attention through question and answer sessions as well as meet and greets. Our filmmakers that are unable to attend their screenings are encouraged to skype in on the big screen to meet with the MAB audience and for our filmmakers that are able to attend, we offer a complementary stay at the Hotel Coolidge, located next door from our beautiful venue.

Each accepted filmmaker gets an entire week dedicated to publicizing their film through web blasts, press releases, and updates on our websites and facebook pages. Along with all the good PR, MAB attending filmmakers are also offered a free night stay in the historic Hotel Coolidge, located next door to the venue.
