• Decision of the selection panel and jury shall be deemed final and cannot be challenged under any circumstances.
• Entries for Mumbai International Cult Film Festival are open for everyone. Participants under the legal age must submit a consent letter from their parent or guardian.
• The total runtime of the Short Film, including opening & closing credits, should strictly be a minimum of 3 minutes and a maximum of 45 minutes.
• Only short films that were made after January 1st, 2015 - Oct 2020 are eligible for the festival.
• The short film can be in any language. However, all films must include sub-titles in English.
• All content used in the short film must be either owned or licensed. If any copyrighted material is used in the film, the participant must have the permission and submit a copy to the Festival Organizers.
• Short films must be made available for download to the festival organizers.
• Multiple entries from the same participant are accepted, but entry for each film must be submitted separately.
• Not all nominated films will be screened. Nominated films selected for screening will be notified via email. If you received a Nomination email, but no Official Selection email, it means your film will not be screened, but is still a contender for an award in its category.
• The Festival Organizers reserve the rights to copy or use the material submitted by the participants in any form, online or offline, for the festival’s promotional and archival purposes.
• Festival Organizers reserve the right to change / modify / alter any rule or its part or event of this competition any time.
• Student films must provide proof of school/university ID.
• Filmmakers are responsible for the copyright of their own materials.
• By submitting to us, you give us the right to screen your film in front of a live audience.
• We retain the right to change the date and venue of the festival under special circumstances. All filmmakers will be informed about any changes through our online platforms.
• Any technical issues with the submitted films are 100% the responsibility of the filmmakers. If, at the time of judging, your video file doesn’t work or doesn’t have English subtitles (if in a language other than English), it will be automatically rejected, without a refund. Please contact the festival team ASAP if there are any issues with the submission process, and a solution will be found.
• By submitting to us you agree to our terms and conditions and to receiving marketing newsletters and discounts about film festivals in the form of emails. We will never sell your information to third parties.

𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠/𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨:-

ii) Send the screening copy. MICFF INDIA shall share the detailed instructions regarding screening format.
C) Applicants can send multiple entries. However, a separate Entry Form and Entry Fee will be required for each film/category.
• Once submitted, films under all categories cannot be withdrawn or cancelled from participation at MICFF INDIA under any circumstances by the participant. Micff India reserves the right to cancel/disqualify the film from being considered/screened if any false information about the film is provided by the filmmaker/entrant/submitter and the entry/submission fee shall be forfeited and will not be refunded. The film also will be disqualified from competition category and will not be screened during the festival dates.
• Entry/Submission Fee is Non-Refundable. Any other payment once made to MICFF INDIA, will not be refunded under any circumstances.

viii) Film’s trailer on pendrive and youtube link of not more than 2 minute in duration (Usable for promotion & publicity purpose if selected)
𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐎𝐅 𝐎𝐅𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 :-
Official Selection MICFF INDIA 2020 – selected films for competition and films selected for screenings for all categories will be announced on MICFF INDIA website and other social media platforms such as official pages of MICFF INDIA on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, MICFF INDIA You Tube Channel and via Email on 15TH November 2020. However, MICFF INDIA reserves the right to change/cancel the scheduled dates, accept or refuse any film without assigning any reason whatsoever. Films selected for competition need not be screened if it fails to comply other formal requirements or on request of the Entrant/Submitter.
• Entry to view screenings of Children’s film at MICFF INDIA is for age group 8 and above only. Children below the age of 18 must be accompanied by Parents/guardians/teachers.
• Entry to view all screenings at MICFF INDIA is for age group 18 and above only except for the Children’s film.
• The revenue collected by way of delegate fee, sponsor fee, donor fee etc is utilised for meeting expenses of the festival and any surplus amount collected shall be used for subsequent festival dates only.
