About the festival

Outsiders Film Festival is a high school short film competition honoring networking in the South Texas Film Community.
The Outsiders film festival began in 2009 as a collaboration between NESA Cinema and several other film programs. The purpose of the festival is to allow young filmmakers (from around the state) an opportunity to network, as well as showcase their work.
We accept all genres including commercials, music videos, documentaries, and narrative shorts.
Join us for a fun night of networking and films on September 21st, 2017.

After submitting the short film, please visit our website: http://outsidersfilmfest.weebly.com/ or email us at nesaoutsiders@gmail.com for the hardcopy waiver. This MUST be completed before the film can be reviewed.

The top three(3) shorts from each category will earn a screening at the festival, as well as additional prizes.
