We accept any film created from TWO YEARS AGO AND ONWARDS may participate in the festival. Films participating in the festival are not required to be a premiere, as well as films screened elsewhere and/or published on Internet. Unfinished projects are not accepted.
Please, read the descriptions of the categories and choose which one is closest to your film.
We require at least English, French or Spanish audio or subtitles for the selection process if needed.
The author(s) of each film must have both the authorship of the film and the rights of other content of third persons appearing in the film.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The following terms and conditions are accepted upon submission of each film and apply if the film is selected for the festival.
The selected films will be exhibited physically and online (Xerb.tv) during the dates of this year's edition and may be screened in the following editions of the festival as "Selected in past editions". We are collaborating with different cities and dance festivals, so the film can be part of a tour (within this year, but not necessarily in the same month as our main event). It will be notified if it's the case.
The author(s) of the film agree(s) to let extracts of a maximum of 10% of their film to be used for publicity purposes relative to the festival or activities of the Plat Artístic association. An eventual trailer of the film may be used on TV, Internet and/or other communication media.
The film will be part of the archive of Plat Artístic. Additionally, if the author(s) wish(es), the film can be part of our video-on-demand channel on Xerb.tv (in this case, the author(s) should contact Plat Artístic for further information).
The film may be shown completely or partially during educational and/or formation activities organized by the Plat Artistic association with its close collaborators (Cineclub Xiscnèfils, Taller Cinema Cerdanyola, Museu d'Art de Cerdanyola, Cineclub Manresa, Vidàlia and Choreoscope International Dance Film Festival). The film won't be published nor distributed to any other person or organisation outside of the previous contexts. For eventual screenings out of the previous situations, the author(s) will be previously asked for consent. Remuneration for each projection is not guaranteed.
In case that a physical support of films is sent at the author(s)' own risk. The Plat Artístic is not responsible for the damage the physical support may suffer. There will be no refunds or devolutions. After the festival, the Plat Artístic has the right to keep any eventual physical content for the archive of the association.

SUBMISSION FEE
We ask for a symbolic submission fee to cover some organisation expenses. The submission is done only via FilmFreeway where you could see the fees per category and deadlines.
