About the festival

Prague International Monthly Film Festival (PIMFF) is part of 𝐈𝐌𝐃𝐛 with live screenings once a month in Prague, in Czech Republic (https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0019241/2020/1/).

𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗣𝐈𝗖𝗧𝐔𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐈𝗟𝗟 𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝗔 𝗖𝗔𝗦𝗛 𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗢𝗙 𝟱𝟬𝟬 $ 💵

Our mission and goal is to discover and promote talented filmmakers from all over the world and present them to the public and therefore is our festival is a brilliant opportunity to participate in international competition.

The festival organizes private screenings for festival jurors every month. Filmmakers can submit their film during 10 month. Every award winning film in categories: Feature Film, Feature Documentary, Short Film, Short Documentary, Super Short Film, Student Film, Short Script, Feature Script and Czech Short Film will be nominated for the annual prize and can attend the 𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐘.

The final event of second year of the film festival will be held on 23th April 2021. We project the best super short film, short film and feature film and you can visit the city Prague and get to know our culture. Prague is a beautiful city with a wonderful culture and amazing nightlife.

Our film festival works constantly. We will publish the results 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐇! The festival has the following structure:
1. The selection of films: we see all submitted films.
2. Selected films will reveive the status “Official Selection“ of the month edition.
3. We will announce the finalists who are nominated for a month prize.
4. The jury selects winners of the two month edition. In the main categories the jury awards: Best Film, Second Place, Third Place and special prices. In the special and individual categories the jury awards: The Best Prize and special prices.

We will announce the awarded films during the first week of the month! We will promote the winning films on our instagram and our website!

Terms and rules

1. All films that are not in English, must have English language subtitles. English movies do not have subtitles.
2. No fee waiver. All entry fees are non-refundable.
3. Multiple entries from the same submitter are accepted.
4. The decision of the festival selection committee will be final.
5. The festival authorities will have the right to retain copies of each film and the material send as part of our festival library & can be screened in for Education, promotion, awareness & commercial purposes.
6. The excerpts from films send for Prague International Montly Film Festival can be shown on the Czech / Int. T.V. / Local Network / Internet etc. For Promotional / Publicity.
7. Films that are submitted must be the entrant’s original work and shall not infringe on any copyrights or any other rights of any third Parties. Contestants agree that they have obtained all required copyright permissions regarding music, sound & images. Etc presented in their film.
8. Prague International Montly Film Festival organizers reserve rights change, cancel or re-schedule the dates, venue, awards & categories without consent or information to contestants.
9. The organizers reserve the right not to award any or all of the prizes.
