CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Prime the Animation! It is an animation film festival, a non-profit cultural event organized by the research group Animation UPV (Universitat Politècnica de València) with the collaboration of Valencian students, schools, professionals and institutions. Prime the Animation! presents its animation short film competition made by new talents in the opera prima and students, without distinction of country of origin.
The event is held at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Valencia as the main venue from October 22th to 24th, 2020
2. EVENT
Prime the Animation! will take place on October 22th-24th, 2020 in:

2. CELEBRACIÓN DEL EVENTO
Prime the Animation! tendrá lugar del 22 al 24 de octubre de 2020 en:

Las proyecciones de los cortometrajes del festival serán sin ánimo de lucro para estudiantes, profesionales y público en general.
BASES DE PARTICIPACIÓN
Prime the Animation! New Talent International Festival es un evento cultural sin ánimo de lucro organizado por el grupo de investigación Animación UPV (Universitat Politècnica de València), que cuenta con la colaboración de estudiantes, escuelas, profesionales e instituciones valencianas. Prime the Animation! presenta su competición de cortometrajes de animación realizados por nuevos talentos en modalidad de ópera prima y estudiantes, sin distinción del país de origen.
El evento se celebra en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Valencia como sede principal del 22 al 24 de octubre de 2020
3. AWARDS
Prime the Animation! will grant the following awards:
• Best International Award
• Miquel Guillem award for the best experimental animation
• Audience Award.
• À Punt Award Millor curtmetratge valencià
• Menudo Prime Award.
The Festival Direction will designate the members of the Jury that will be formed by animation experts of recognized standing and experience.
Based on the show and jury’s ratings, Prime the Animation! Reserves the right to additionally grant for Special Mentions.
Special Mentions will receive a Diploma. All the awards will be delivered during the closing ceremony, that will take place on October 24th, 2020.
4. SHORT FILM SELECTED COMMUNICATION
4.1. The selected short films for Prime the Animation! Will be published on the website during the month of September 2020:

4.2. The organization will communicate by email or through HYPERLINK Platform to all participants, selected and not selected, the result of the selection and with a minimum of fifteen days in advance.
4.3. In any case the awared directors will be required to be in person in the Festival
5. REGISTRATION CONDITIONS
The participation in Prime the Animation! Implies the full acceptance of this regulation.

3. PREMIOS
Prime the Animation! concederá los siguientes galardones:
Premio Mejor cortometraje Internacional.
Premio Miquel Guillem a la mejor animación experimental.
Premio del público.
Premio À Punt al Millor curtmetratge valencià.
Premio Menudo Prime.
La Dirección del Festival designará a los miembros del Jurado que estará formado por expertos en animación de reconocida experiencia.
En función de la muestra y de las valoraciones del Jurado, Prime the Animation! se reserva el derecho de otorgar adicionalmente menciones especiales.
Los premios incluyen un trofeo y las menciones especiales recibirán un diploma. Todos los premios serán entregados en el transcurso de la gala de clausura que se celebrará el sábado 24 de octubre de 2020.
4. COMUNICACIÓN DE LA SELECCIÓN
4.1. Los cortometrajes seleccionados en Prime the Animation! serán publicados en la página web del festival durante el mes de septiembre de 2020: http://primetheanimation.upv.es
4.2. La organización del festival comunicará por email y/o a través de la plataforma FilmFreeway a todos los participantes el resultado de la selección con un mínimo de quince días de antelación.
4.3. En ningún caso se exigirá la presencia de los directores/as o representantes de los cortometrajes para ser seleccionados o premiados en Prime the Animation!
5. CONDICIONES DE INSCRIPCIÓN
La participación en Prime the Animation! implica la aceptación íntegra de estas bases.
