The Roze Filmdagen (meaning "Pink Film Days") is the longest running and largest film festival for LGBTQ films in the Netherlands. We started preparing our 24th edition, that can be enjoyed from March 11 - 21, 2021.
11 days of screening of LGBT films can be enjoyed at The Ketelhuis cinema (located at the Westergasfabriek / Westerpark) in Amsterdam. The selection of films include LGBTQ related romantic comedies, provoking documentaries and everything in between. The festival has been giving special attention to short films for many years already and our selection has been applauded by international (LGBTQ) film festivals.
The festival started small and underground but has experienced a huge growth in recent years. For this coming edition we expect over 10.000 visitors who will enjoy over 130 films (feature films, shorts and documentaries) from around 40 different countries in 140 screenings.
The festival also curated LGBTQ programmes for several other international (LGBTQ) festivals.
