When submitting final film for play at the festival, please use the following format (in this order of preference).
1. A ProRes 442 file on a thumbdrive. (make sure it has some speed on it) I the file is of a full feature or long documentary, please try to keep the file size down but better than that of a BluRay
ALSO INCLUDE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING AS A SUPPLEMENT AND BACKUP!

Each entry will be viewed by the Festival committee and rated on a 5 (five) point scale.
The committee will also rate for general interest, creativity and production values.

=>The filmmaker is solely responsible for shipping the festival print prepaid, insured and packed in proper containers.
=>SFBFF will not be responsible for return shipping.
=>SFBFF will not pay for international shipping of US films.

-Any film considered for a festival award cannot have had commercial theatrical play
domestically.

For digital submissions, filmmaker signatures are kept "on file." Include ALL relevant terms and conditions in the box below. For example, if your terms and conditions refer to your general rules, paste them below too.

SFBFF is hereby granted the right to utilize an excerpt from any film submitted and accepted for exhibition at the Festival for promotional purposes.
The individual or corporation submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening, and understands and accepts these requirements and regulations.
The undersigned shall indemnify and hold harmless SFBFF from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees, and costs of the court) which may be incurred by reason of any claim involving copyright, trademark, credits, publicity, screening, and loss of or damage to the screening videos entered.
