About the festival

Script Studio and the Rochester Association for Film Arts and Sciences, Inc. present a short script competition open to all residents of NY state. The top three submissions will be performed at a Table Reading Event at a local venue open to the public.

This is a great opportunity to hear your work and the scripts of other writers performed by dedicated actors!

The cost for each entry is $25. Proceeds go to Rochester Association for Film Arts and Sciences, Inc., a not for profit educational corporation run entirely by volunteers.

Each screenplay submitted will receive a written critique of their work. The writers of the top three scripts will receive $50, a copy of Script Studio and have their screenplays presented at a public table read at Magic Spell Studios, Wegman’s Theater at the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY.
