The Seal Beach FF is and will always be a live social event. We care about your health and safety and will follow all recommended guidelines. Including sanitizing of the venues and all contact surfaces before and after each screening, social event or workshop/seminar. Social distancing will be fully utilized and face coverings are recommended unless state guidelines mandate otherwise.

Participate in the Youth or Kid's film competition and judging or a hands on workshop.
Our festival team has over 45 combined years of film festival and film experience dedicated to producing an event that will rise among the best in the industry. Our programming team has proudly screened over 2,500 films and welcomed over 2,450 filmmakers to our film festivals and events in Southern California. The Seal Beach Film Festival is now an IMDb Qualifying festival.

Awards are presented in 30 categories including "Best of Show", "Best Feature", "Best Short" etc. We also present awards for "Best Actor & Actress and Best Supporting Actor & Actress" and "Best Screenplay". We also present audience choice awards.
