All films submitted to the SNOB (Somewhat North of Boston) Film Festival (New England Indie Fest) must be accompanied with a completed submission form and the required, non-refundable submission fee.
Films may be submitted to the festival electronically (via FilmFreeway).
Selection for the SNOB Film Festival is decided by the Film Selection Committee. All selected filmmakers will be notified by the staff and invited to participate in the festival. Filmmakers will be notified as soon as possible once selected for inclusion.
Films must be made within two years of submission deadline.
Films posted on public websites will not be accepted (i.e. public youtube or filmmakers webpage or facebook page)
No film shall use unlicensed material of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, music, songs, soundtracks, or intellectual property of another.
The SNOB Film Festival will make a reasonable effort to ensure unauthorized intellectual property is not selected. However, ultimate liability rests with the filmmaker.
IMPORTANT: If your film has a New Hampshire connection, then please let us know. Some examples of a regional NH connection.
- Films made, shot, or edited in NH
- Director or other filmmakers from or currently in NH
- Actors from or currently residing in NH
- Tech, sound, production people from or currently living in NH
- Film set in or referencing NH
- Family current living in NH
Please list in your cover letter, your NH connection.
If film is selected the following information will be required:
- Digital exhibit copy of the film
- Short description of the film
- Two digital film stills
- One digital one-sheet poster for the film
Note submission fees film start extremely reasonable and double at each deadline. Submit films early to save money. No time deadline extensions will be given.
