About the festival

Since 2012, Sprrkle(TM) Collective is a quarterly LIVE short film showcase and an online platform to celebrate the indie filmmakers community. We provide recognition for resourcefulness and creativity in storytelling in media across genres.

We are an IMDB qualifying festival. That means if you win an award at our festival, that award will show up as a win on your IMDB profile.

Our goal is to build a community and have a festival where people are there to be a part of the community. We do not encourage filmmakers who only turn up if their films are screened. As a result, we choose not to notify our official selections until after the festival and we do not ever provide a list of which films are screened. We do realize that this is unusual but we believe in what we do and as a result, over the years, we now have a supportive community who turn up and fill the theater, whether their films are screened or not.

We are an IMDB qualifying festival. That means if you win an award at our festival, that award will show up as a win on your IMDB profile.

We give various awards depending on the quality of the submissions.
