In its fifth edition, STUFF MX FILM FESTIVAL is consolidated as a space for the promotion of short films, medium-length films, documentaries and independent films from all over the world regardless of their genre or style.
As every year STUFF MX FILM FESTIVAL launches its:

To all the national and international filmmakers, documentaries, short filmmakers and audiovisual directors to be part of our events during this year:
BASES OF PARTICIPATION
I. Several works may be registered per director, there is no limit.
II. Short films such as feature films, web series and video clips may participate in the following categories.
• Fiction
• Horror
• Science fiction
• Documentary film
• Animation
• Experimental
• Queer Cinema
III. The production date to participate in the competition and screening cannot be earlier than 2019. Works that have already participated in previous editions of STUFF MX cannot participate.
IV. In short films, the maximum duration is 20 minutes per work.
V. Registration is 4 to 10 USD per work, depending on the category or period of registration.
VI. The registration of the works does not guarantee their inclusion in competition.
VII. No work may be entered into competition in whose production the STUFF MX team participates directly or indirectly.
REGISTRATION
I. The registration period starts from the publication of this call, until the last day of August 2020.
II. Registration is done only through the FilmFreeway platform.
III. To register it is important that the participant has the copyright and exhibition rights.
IV. If the work is part of the Competition Selection, it cannot be removed.
SELECTION.
I. The official selection is made by the STUFF MX Programming Department, its decision is final and unappealable.
II. STUFF MX FILM FESTIVAL will contact the filmmakers, producers or people who registered the material by the means of contact provided by the registration platform.
III. The Organizing Committee is responsible for informing the dates and places of exhibition, its decision is final and unappealable.
RULES
I. STUFF MX FILM FESTIVAL may use fragments, scenes and promotional material of the works selected for promotion, the promotion of these may include digital media such as social networks, TV ads, Internet pages and Streaming platforms or Internet video.
II. STUFF MX does not make any kind of projection payment.
III. Registration does not guarantee that the work is considered to enter the official selection or official competition.
IV. The inscription of the works guarantees its exhibition on a date determined by the STUFF MX team that may or may not be during the Festival dates and in accordance with the Certificate of Authorization that is delivered to the selected materials.
V. In the event that there is any eventuality not provided for in this call, the Organizing Committee will be responsible for its resolution and inform its decision, which will be unquestionable and unappealable.
IV. When deciding to participate and register one or more works, the participant accepts all the rules described in this call and the following stages of it.
STUFF MX FILM FESTIVAL is a GRUPO INTROSPECCIÓN project.
CVTL is the STUFF MX international show where documentaries, films, directors, film sagas or other elements present in the cinema are projected. CVTL is also a platform where Fan Films and Fan Edits are presented.
The CVTL projections will be carried out in Mexico City and other states of the country in February 2020.

CVTL is a STUFF MX project.
NOISE by STUFF is the international platform for the dissemination of documentaries about music, bands, soloists, musical rhythms and everything related to music in the cinema.
NOISE will have its second edition in Mexico City and other areas of the country during April 2020.

Z by STUFF MX is the international exhibition on Z cinema that shows the most representative and incredible of this film genre.

CIPACTLI is the show of Mexican cinema that shows the most daring, bold, and controversial of Mexican cinema.
The CIPACTLI projections will be carried out in Mexico City and other states in the interior of the country in September 2020.
