About the festival

Submissions are now open! Join us as we celebrate true diversity in cinema. We are seeking a diverse group of emerging filmmakers to take part in in the Super Duper Diversity Film Festival 2019. The festival will take place in the heart of Hollywood, at The Montalbán Theatre, where the Best Super Duper Diverse Film Certificate will be awarded.
We believe in inclusiveness, therefore, please submit your film under the category you feel most comfortable with, as they are merely a guide. Categories: Diverse, LGBTQIA, Veteran, Foreign Language, Indigenous, International, Senior, Disabled, Vegan. These are the genres within each category: comedy, drama, action, documentary, mockumentary, dark comedy, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, animation, improvised, experimental, music video, silent. Running Time: 1-20 minutes in length. Please note that you may submit a longer running time project's trailer or pilot sizzle reel under "Open" category.
All foreign language films must be subtitled in English.

- Submitting your film does not guarantee festival acceptance or screening. Acceptance into the festival does not guarantee award or prize. Submission fee's are nonrefundable. Golden State Film Festival reserves the right to change programming without notice.
- By submitting you agree that you parties hold complete ownership and rights to any and all submitted materials. By submitting your project you grant screening rights to the Super Duper Diversity Film Festival to use at their discretion both at the festival, online, and/or social media for any promotional use.
- Previously screened projects are accepted.
